Four People Shot at Howe Community Park – Unauthorized Event Ends in Shooting





On the evening of Saturday April 18, an unsanctioned event of multiple hundreds of attendees at Howe Community Park in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento erupted in gunfire when between 20 and 25 shots filled the air as Sacramento County law enforcement were in the process of breaking up the gathering.

A Timeline of Events

At approximately 6:30 PM, the Sacramento County law enforcement was alerted involving individuals possibly carrying concealed weapons at the Arden-Arcade park. A second report mentioned a possible altercation and people running from the area.
